The objective of this project was to modify the traditional Rongey method such that it can utilize modern commercially available glassware and laboratory equipment, to enable research and industry laboratories around the world to continue to use this methodology. Currently methodology had its limitations due to the need for special custom-made tubes along with a large, outdated centrifuge. Two batch types were analyzed with three different methods. Results showed that the modified method appears to be a promising alternative to the traditional method, but further research should be done to clearly notice the differences in methods.
