The poultry industry is looking to improve broilers' behavior and welfare. The study aimed to simulate natural predatory behavior and encourage more activity using a novel laser enrichment device. Sedentary life can negatively impact bird welfare. Videos were analyzed to study broiler behavior and the effect of the laser treatment.
