Recently, pots made of biodegradable material have become available, known as “biocontainers.” In order to test these different materials, the team partnered with a local greenhouse to test ten different types of biocontainers in a greenhouse environment, evaluating them on their performance in five different categories: dry down, pot integrity, plant growth/appearance, mold/algae growth, and root growth.
