Impact of non-native honey bees on wild pollinator reproduction in the context of restored native prairie strips

Honey bee apiaries contain millions of individuals. The introduction of this number of non-native bees may increase disease transfer and competition for resources with wild insects. Trap nests were used to measure apiary effects on wild pollinator reproduction. Results indicate honey bees have differing impacts on wasps and bees.
