Identifying Changes in Duodenal Enterocyte Ultrastructure after Synbiotic IgY Treatment using TEM Techniques

Canine Chronic Enteropathy (CE) is a gastrointestinal disorder characterized by persistent GI signs and histologic inflammation. Synbiotics may reduce intestinal inflammation and correct microbial imbalances. This project aims to examine the potential association between microscopic and ultrastructural changes in the small intestine of dogs with CE treated with synbiotics.
