Seven Sierra
Exotic honey bees have brought life threatening diseases and pathogens to native bumble bee species, some of which are endangered or threatened. Developing an ethical way to detect disease and pathogen presence in endangered bumble bee species can help determine if these factors are contributing to the decline of pollinators.
